FRYETTE Power Station PS-2A Variable Reactive Load + Vacuum Tube Power Amp is an easy to use, tunable reactive load coupled to a vacuum tube power amplifier (2x 6L6, 1x 12 AX7) that fine tunes your amplifier response which then drives your speaker cabinet.
Perfectly preserves
Power Station PS-2A preserves the tone of the attenuated amplifier, the dynamic feel and speaker response at any volume setting, down to whisper level.
Choose 4, 8 and 16 ohms separately for both the amplifier and cabinet matching. No more nerve-wracking impedance mis-matching that could damage your amplifier.
Features a post distortion effects loop for any amp whether or not it already has one.
Power Station PS-2A can attenuate but also boost the output of a lunchbox amp. Any low power amp, Tiny Terror, Champ, AC15, Princeton, etc., can cut throught the mix of a live gig with a full band with all original tone intact.
The power amp functionality is perfect for your guitar preamps, floor preamps and modeling preamps, as an onstage monitor power amp for live modeling direct to FOH system, or for adding tube power sound to direct recording for any instrument or signal source.
