The Rode Videomicpro plus is a camera microphone.
The RØDE VideoMic Pro+ is a new addition in the category of the best camera microphones on the market. It is a true micro-cannon microphone designed for camcorders, digital cameras and portable audio recorders as a primary reference audio source. Still delivered with the famous Rycote Lyre system with integrated suspension, the VideoMic Pro+ improves on the previous VideoMic Pro with its capsule, tubular line, windscreen and many other new possibilities. The automatic power-on function (with plug-and-play ignition) is perfect for the photographer in an emergency, automatically deactivating the microphone when the cable is disconnected from the camera. The integrated battery cover makes it easy to replace the battery and prevents you from losing it.
