Cabezal para guitarra eléctrica
A reissue of the DR504, the 50W version of the DR103. The only other amp known for having contributed, since 1970, to the legendary Hiwatt sound.
With half the tubes and half the power of its predecessor, it offers the same sound quality while being able to crunch at a lower volume, ideal for recording.
Like the DR103, the DR504 is characterized by a clean, elegant sound that enhances effects pedals and can maintain its integrity even at unbelievable volumes. This gives it the ability to work with all types of instruments, including basses, keyboards, and acoustic instruments.
It owes this sound quality to David Reeve's original and unique, almost Hi-Fi design, its military-grade point-to-point wiring modeled on the work of Harry Joice, and a rigorous selection of the finest components. It notably features the famous Partridge™ transformer, specifically designed for vintage Hiwatt amps and reissued for new models. Like the DR103, the DR504 is handcrafted in England.
Bridging the two inputs and lowering the power output of the DR504 to 50W allows for the wide sonic range of the DR103, while also allowing the brand's signature crunch sound to be achieved at "recording" volume. This natural and punchy drive has a very personal British feel thanks to the characteristic midrange boost, but in a way that's very different from other major English brands.
Faithful reproduction of Dave Reeve's original circuit from the late 1960s.
Meticulously hand-wired in England, in the style of Harry Joyce and his military-grade precision.
A premium pedal board, appreciated for its defined clean sound and its power reserve to ensure the effects remain unaltered. The pedals remain true to themselves, without the need for an effects loop.
Versatile and intuitive, it's perfect for revealing pickups lacking brightness or for attenuating the highs of overly shrill pickups.
Bridge the channels to achieve more gain and punch, and experience the sound for which Hiwatt is renowned.
An ultra-versatile amp that supports many different instruments: bass, keyboards, synths, and other instruments, even acoustic ones.
