The Mandrake Octo-Shrieker is a pedal offered by the KMA brand.
The Mandrake further enhances the KMA Moai Maea's Skriek circuit, delivering lightning-fast tracking with an edgy, fuzzy character unique to many vintage higher-octave effects.
It includes a low pass filter and individual Timbre and Mix settings to make this circuit much more versatile. The Filter setting reduces upper harmonics and improves tracking, very useful for adjusting the upper octave effect depending on the instrument and its microphones. The Timbre setting determines the amount of fuzz gain at the higher octave, allowing the tone to be fine-tuned.
