Palmer Monicon XL

The Monicon XL palmer is a monitoring controller.


The MONICON XL from Palmer is the ideal intuitive switching unit for any requirement. The selection of audio sources and speakers is conveniently made by means of buttons.

The Monicon Xl has three analog stereo inputs, an S/PDIF input and outputs for three pairs of monitors, each with a volume control knob for level balancing. An additional wideband output with mono summing allows you to connect a mono monitor or subwoofer. The flagship feature of the MONICON XL is the correlation indicator, which indicates the phase difference between the left and right stereo channels. Mono compatibility errors in a mix can thus be detected quickly and easily. The controller can be custom-configured to best suit the way you work.

The MONICON XL has no signal latency or discoloration. Together with other essential functions for studio work, the unit is much more than just a monitoring controller. Two headphone outputs with volume control knobs and Main/Cue switches, a general Cue knob and a talkback microphone with adjustable volume that can be muted complete the controller, as well as a Mute function and a Dim button with volume control knob, which can be used to lower the sound level of the controller to a preset value in a flash.
