Rode's NTG5 DE is a short, ultra-light gun microphone that is ideal for the most demanding recordings.
It offers unparalleled transparency and a more natural and pure sound. Combined with a fully controlled frequency response, a harmonious off-axis response and very low self-noise (just 10 dBA), the NTG5 delivers superb sound in a wide variety of applications, especially in demanding field recordings and film shoots where excellent sound quality is imperative. No more excuses.
The NTG5 is every boom operator's dream with its weight of only 76 g and length of just over 20 cm, ideal for long and demanding shoots. It also incorporates RF bias circuitry to ensure reliable performance in the most hostile environments with excellent resistance to high humidity, extreme cold and dust. The ideal microphone for field recordings.
