Sandberg is a german company with a strong reputation on the European bass scene. In the more recent years it has garnered attention around the globe with a wide selection of vintage-style and modern instruments.
Built in Germany, the SANDBERG Limited Edition California VM4 SL Superlight #47154 (Blackburst Matt) is a fantastic solid body electric bass merging influences from the classics Fender© Precision Bass© and Music Man© Stingray©.
Its active/passive preamp and Sandberg splitcoil / Power Humbucker pickups offer an incredible collection of sounds going from traditional to contemporary.

California VM SL Superlight's body is made from Paulownia. It's a very ligthweight tonewood that sounds pretty close to Swamp Ash.
