The Thorens TD 403 DD uses a direct drive platter system to ensure a stable and accurate turntable speed. The motor offers two speeds, 33 and 45 rpm, which can be easily adjusted via a switch on the left side of the turntable.

The Thorens TP 150 tone arm is an angled model inherited from the top of the range Thorens TD 1500 turntable. It is adjustable in height and azimuth, has an effective weight of 14 grams and an SME connector for easy changing of the cartridge holder. The anti-skating system is a sliding weight system attached to a nylon thread guided on a ruby bearing located in the base of the arm.
A moving magnet cell for a more natural sound reproduction
The Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge pre-mounted on the TP 150 tone arm is a moving magnet design with a bare elliptical diamond, ensuring better transmission of groove variations between the diamond and the cartridge generator for a more accurate sound, especially in the treble. With an output level of 5.5 mV, it can be easily combined with any RIAA phono preamp.
