This sleek desktop unit is compatible with Mac and Windows computers, and can supercharge UA audio interfaces and other UAD-2 DSP Accelerator systems to run larger mixes filled with rich analog emulation plug-ins.
UAD-2 PCIe OCTO Ultimate 8 includes 104 UA-developed* plug-ins from a world-renowned library that includes titles from Ampex, Lexicon, Helios, Neve, Manley, Avalon, Studer, Fender, Capitol Studios, and many more. In creating UAD plug-ins, Universal Audio’s DSP engineers work with the original hardware manufacturers, using their exact schematics, golden units, and experienced ears to give you all the warmth of classic analog equipment in your DAW.
The UAD-2 PCIe OCTO Ultimate 8 provides massive horsepower via eight SHARC processors, and its PCIe format offers unprecedented bandwidth and ultra-low latency.
