The J44D Improved Aurora is the ideal cartridge for DJs looking to replace their venerable Shure M44G with a premium cartridge offering similar performance.
Supplied with a phosphorescent JICO N44G Aurora stylus for high sustain and an S-type cantilever for excellent tracking, it's the perfect way to recapture the sound and feel of the legendary Shure M44G and N44G cartridges and diamonds.

JICO, an acronym for Nippon Precision Jewel Industry Co. LTD, is a Japanese manufacturer whose name is well known to afficionados of high-quality cells and diamonds for vinyl turntables, both audiophiles and DJs. This family business based in the Hamasaka region of the Land of the Rising Sun, whose origins date back to 1873, began its history by manufacturing sewing needles, a precision activity that already foreshadowed its future! Since 1966, the brand has been making the diamonds and cantilevers for which it is famous, and has continued to innovate while retaining traditional manufacturing techniques. It now offers its own cell holders, cells and diamonds for the enjoyment of all vinyl lovers.
