Focal's Solo 6 ST6 monitors feature a new Beryllium inverted dome tweeter with a protective 'M' grille, and a new woofer with an increased frequency range up to 10kHz, specially designed for Focus Mode. The drivers incorporate Focal's patented Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) technology, which reduces distortion in the 1kHz to 3kHz frequency range by 50% - a feature borrowed from Trio11 Be. The new design of the speaker has a modern and refined look and uses a thicker and more robust material. This provides even greater rigidity and damping, and less vibration and distortion.
