Focal's Solo 6 ST6 monitors feature a new Beryllium inverted dome tweeter with a protective 'M' grille, and a new woofer with an increased frequency range up to 10kHz, specially designed for Focus Mode. The drivers incorporate Focal's patented Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) technology, which reduces distortion in the 1kHz to 3kHz frequency range by 50% - a feature borrowed from Trio11 Be. The new design of the speaker has a modern and refined look and uses a thicker and more robust material. This provides even greater rigidity and damping, and less vibration and distortion. Thanks to all these improvements, the reproduction offered by Solo6 and Twin6 is even more nuanced and detailed than with the previous models. The transparency offered allows sound engineers to hear their work with ultimate precision.
