Guitarra electro acustica
FURCH Violet GC-EM (43 mm, LRB1) steel string acoustic/electric guitar is a Grand Auditorium with cutaway, made from solid Engelmann Spruce top, solid african Mahogany back/sides, Brankowood fingerboard and LR Baggs preamp.
It stands out thanks to a perfectly balanced sound and an attractive look underscored by numerous appointments.
Englemann is a sought after Spruce with fantastic tone characteristics. Softer and paler in color than Adirondack and Sitka, Engelmann has a mature tone, and yields a slightly richer midrange, which makes a guitar sound a bit more "vintage". Softer attack with a fantastic clarity.
BrankoWood is the invention of Branko Hermescee, an Australian scientist that spent two decades of research to produce a revolutionary process.
The wood is a short cycle pine from New-Zealand, that goes thru a specific and sophisticated drying/compression process, for an optimal humidity level and density.
The wood is first dried to only contain 10% moisture and then impregnated in pressure vessels with catalytic and pigmenting agents.
The wood is then dried again to reduce its moisture content by 2 or 3% before being impregnated again under pressure, this time with natural resin.
The wood is then compressed to the density of spruce for Pale BrankoWood, rosewood for Brown BrankoWood or Ebony for Black BrankoWood, to achieve the same acoustic characteristics.
The Violet Series guitars are the perfect gateway into the world of Furch, offering a full-fledged instrument with all-solid wood construction and minimalist aesthetics. Representing the essence of Furch’s sound philosophy, these guitars feature an Engelmann spruce top, enhanced by Furch proprietary individual soundboard voicing process for exceptional acoustic properties. The back and sides are crafted from African mahogany, while the body is treated with an Open-Pore Finish, which amplifies the natural resonance and highlights the beauty of the materials. Outstanding playability and long-lasting precision are ensured by our advanced CNR System® Active neck construction.
