Capturing the essence of one of the world’s most beloved and influential figures in metal music, the LTD Alexi Ripped solid body electric guitar is among the final models designed by Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman Alexi Laiho.
The LTD Alexi Ripped is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped Maple neck with natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, Alder body wings, and a Macassar Ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers.
The Alexi Ripped model is the first Alexi Laiho Signature Series guitar with more than one pickup. It includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position for high-gain presence and clarity with a punchy response, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck, offering just the right mix of mids with a clear and full low end.
Components on this outstanding guitar include Grover tuners, a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, and chrome hardware including a volume control and an inset three-way pickup selector. Available in Purple Fade Satin finish with painted black satin “ripped” pinstripes, with matching back and sides. Includes deluxe ESP hardshell case.
