The Moog Sound Studio is a complete package of semi-modular synthesizers and accessories created to provide users with all the equipment, cables, accessories and educational tools needed to enter the world of analog synthesis for the first time or to continue exploring sound in a new and immersive way. All you need are headphones or speakers and you're ready to go!

Moog's semi-modular synthesizers are the perfect instruments to guide your artistic direction, enhance creative expression and expand your exploration of experimental modular, professional sound design or electronic production. The journey through the Moog Sound Studio begins by selecting a combination of instruments to complement your musical style or sonic preferences: Mother 32 & DFAM or DFAM & Subharmonicon. These pairs of instruments are particularly powerful when patched together, greatly expanding the sonic capabilities of each individual synthesizer to produce a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

In addition to the semi-modular synthesizer duo of choice, each Moog Sound Studio includes a personal stereo summing mixer with 3-way power distribution to provide flexible signal routing and conveniently power your entire system from a single power supply. Also included are a series of guided exercises, exploration games, experimental patch sheets, imaginative studio artwork and more to equip your studio and take your synthesis skills to the next level.

Mother-32
The Mother-32 is an intuitive and expandable semi-modular synthesizer that adds raw analog sound, powerful sequencing and extensive interconnectivity to any creative, electronic or modular ecosystem. The Mother-32 excels in: Classic analog leads and basses and powerful step sequencing with pattern memory.
Subharmonicon
Subharmonicon is a semi-modular polyrhythmic analog synthesizer that uses a 6-tone sound engine and a multi-layer clock generator to explore the world of subharmonics, polyrhythms and the unique relationships they create. Subharmonicon excels in: Unique subharmonic chord shapes and complex polyrhythmic sequences.
DFAM
The DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) is a semi-modular analog percussion synthesizer that provides a practical and expressive approach to creating percussive patterns. The DFAM excels in: Rich electronic drum patches and organic, breathing analog sequencing.
Accessories (All accessories come standard with the Mother-32 & DFAM or Subharmonicon & DFAM).
Personal Stereo Summing Mixer and Instrument Cables
This 4-input (1/4? input, 1/8? stereo output) analog summing mixer offers selectable mono or stereo configurations for versatile routing options, and the built-in 3-way power distribution hub powers your entire Moog Sound Studio from a single power source. The included instrument cables are available in a variety of lengths and colours to complete the system and reduce the footprint.
2-Tier Rack Kit
Conveniently stack the two synthesizers and summing mixer into one connected system to maximize studio space and orient the instruments vertically for optimal interconnectivity.
Custom Cable Organizer and Patch Cord Set
The included patch cord organizer connects to the two-tier rack or mounts directly to a wall, keeping patch cords neat and tidy for a smooth workflow. A customised patch cord set has been selected in terms of lengths, colours and quantities to maximise the system's patching capacity.
Guided exercises, exploration games and experimental patch sheets
Learning synthesis doesn't have to be intimidating! The included games and learning materials allow the player to explore at their own pace while enjoying the journey. Developed with artists who know these instruments best, these detailed and fun exercises are designed to accelerate your synthesis experience by exploring new skills to support your ongoing synthesis practice - a perfect starting point for beginners or inspiration for seasoned professionals.
Studio Art
All original illustrations, created by Jim Stoten (M32/DFAM) and Philip Lindeman (SUBH/DFAM), have been carefully designed to help users explore new imaginative worlds. The characters, posters and objects that accompany each Moog Sound Studio combine to transform any space into an immersive creative environment.
