The Transient Designer 4 Mk2 is a peripheral offered by the SPL brand.

The all-new generation of Transient Designer 4 retains the processing qualities that made its predecessor famous, while featuring a revisited design and solid aluminum buttons for an even more comfortable grip. The Transient Designer 4 Mk2 integrates four Transient Designer channels into a single 19" format device.

In 1998, SPL's Transient Designer ushered in a new era in dynamic processors. By allowing independent control of the attack level and sustain of audio signals, it has profoundly transformed music production.

- Sustain: The decay phase of a signal can be increased or reduced by up to 24 dB
