El programa Gibson Custom Shop Made To Measure (M2M) existe desde 2013. Te permite realizar un pedido de la Gibson de tus sueños (ya sea una Les Paul, una SG, una ES-335, una Explorer…), las cuales habrás determinado con precisión las características. Es este programa al que podemos recurrir para construir nuestros propios modelos M2M. Echa un vistazo a esta colección en el sitio de Star's Music. Si desea construir la guitarra de sus sueños, contáctenos para que podamos seleccionar juntos un modelo de referencia (a elegir de una lista de instrumentos inspirados en particular en las guitarras icónicas de la época dorada de Gibson), luego las diferentes opciones que ofrece el Custom Shop (madera del cuerpo/mástil/diapasón, grado de la mesa, pastillas, perfil del mástil, herrajes, colores, acabado, etc.). Players love Grand Concert acoustic guitars for their articulate sound and compact dimensions, and the strong>TAYLOR Custom Shop GC-E Grand Concert #1211143037 acoustic/electric guitar is no exception.
This beauty is made from premium soli tonewoods that our team slected at Taylor's factory. Spicey Cedar for top, Tasmanian Myrtle for back/sides, figured Maple neck, Ebony fretboard.
With tone-enhancing V-Class bracing and ES-2 electronics, it pumps out serious volume with blooming sustain.

As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era. It’s used on 85-90 percent of the guitars that Taylor makes. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking. Sitka spruce is Bob Taylor’s personal favorite for an all-around great guitar.

Tasmanian Myrtle can be considered as the best hybrid between Mahogany and Rosewood on this planet.

The Taylor's small-body Grand Concert debuted in 1984 to meet the needs of a new wave of adventurous acoustic fingerstyle players. In contrast to the traditionally darker, boomier voices of bigger body styles like dreadnoughts and jumbos, the GC’s compact size and tapered waist kept the overtones in check. It was also more comfortable to play while sitting down, and the guitar’s slightly wider neck gave players more room for complex fingerings. The GC’s smaller sonic footprint also fit cleanly in a mix with other instruments when tracking in the studio and with a band on stage, making it a useful tool for professional session and side players.
Current generation of GC models continues to accommodate fingerstylists with finger-friendly traits like a shorter 24 7/8-inch scale length, which makes fretting easier and adds a slightly slinkier feel on the strings due to the lighter string tension. If you feel more comfortable with a small body or favor controlled overtones, a Grand Concert is a great option.
