Expander
The STEAMPIPE: an 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer without conventional oscillators. Instead, it replicates the sound production mechanism of wind and string instruments, finely tuned to generate a wide sonic palette. Designed for performances with wind MIDI controllers, it also works flawlessly with any MIDI keyboard. The harmonics produced by the STEAMPIPE are rich and organic, and it comes with exceptional-sounding presets.
With detailed controls over multiple physical modeling parameters, the STEAMPIPE is capable of producing realistic emulations of acoustic instruments while pushing the conventional boundaries of their pitch and dynamic range. Imagine the sound of a flute or a clarinet playing at C1 or C7!
