The MARTIN GUITAR Limited Edition Custom Shop Expert 000-18 1937 Sinker Mahogany blends the vintage soul of a 1937-style build with the warmth and depth of sinker mahogany and the power of an Adirondack spruce top. It features Authentic 1937 bracing, a hide glue dovetail neck joint, and an adjustable truss rod for modern reliability. The tone is rich and balanced right out of the case—and only gets better with age.
With just 50 available, it’s a beautifully crafted nod to tradition, designed for serious players who appreciate history in every detail.

Adirondack is considered as one of the best Spruce available. Lots of clarity, excellent projection and sweet midrange.

Sinker Mahogany comes old growth trunks that were under water for so long that some mineral content penetrated the wood. This changes the structure of the Mahogany to become slightly heavier and harder, to produce amazing voices in acoustic guitars.
